Stake Temple Day!

This saturday was Stake Temple Day. We got to go down and we were all over in the temple. I got to ride down with my very good friend Celeste. We had a lot of fun and now we have some of it documented.
This is me with my home teachers, Chris and Omar. They are fun and enjoyable to be around. Chris didn't want to be in the picture, but I told him I liked the picture just the way it is.
This was a picture that I got to take while I was waiting for the rest of my group. I am very excited that I found the timer button so my arm is not in all of the sides of my picture.
The temple is beautiful! It was a very nice, relaxing, peaceful day.

First Photography Assignment!

We are trying to learn how to use our cameras. We are supposed to take pictures with large focuses, small focuses, as well as fast and slow shutter speed.
This was one of my fist adventures in which I climbed down the unsteady rocks to get some pictures from the view point that i wanted.
Next I went to the skate park and I asked the boys if I could snap some pictures. They weren't doing too much, but I got a few good pictures. It was and interesting experience to be around and listening to these boys.
Anyways, these are just a few of the pictures I thought turned out well. Hope you enjoy them too.

Scott's Army Party

Over the break Peter's best friend, and my adopted brother, had an open house for entering the service. Peter made the cake, and it was amazing if I do say so myself.
Since Scott is leaving Kristina is moving to Tennessee to be with her mom and work back there while Scott is in training.
Kristina is a lot of fun and we will miss both of them. They would always come up to mom and dads and play all the time. There were many very long nights of "Rage". Peter thought he was getting creative with our picture, but it turns out I liked the picture of the brown and blue.
Scott is going to do great. I hope he loves his new job. And I will miss him for a few years, seeing as I will be leaving on my mission before he gets home. Love you, Scott and Kristina. Good Luck!

Christmas!!!

Oh Christmas! We had a great day and it started with a great breakfast. Mom and Dad have always made this amazing breakfast every Christmas morning that I can remember. However, we only get to eat it once a year because it is a heart attack city. But as you can see with only four people eating breakfast we put it to good use!

It was really fun for our family to have my roommate, Guizella, over for a few days. Mostly we just stayed inside and played games all day.

I loved decorating for Christmas. One of my favorite decorations were the stockings, mine is the one with Eyore on it. We didn't use them the traditional way, but they looked really good.

I also got a little action from one of the decorations. I thought he was pretty cute.

Christmas Eve

The whole family, and my roommate Guizella, were able to get together for Christmas Eve this year. We traditionally all get together and eat dinner, play bingo, and sing carols. This year was the first time that everyone from Grandma Walboms side was together. This has not happened since the first Easter after Tom, Joan, and the girls moved to Reno. So, thanks grandma Janet, it was a lot of fun. This is Alex in his chair as well as his sisters. These very cute puppy chairs were made by Grandma Karen (with some stuffing assistance from me). As soon as Alex saw the chairs he sat down just like an adult, proping his feet up and everything.
In addition to her puppy chair Chorlotte got a special ball from Grandma Karen. It fits just perfectly in her hands, and she was quite happy to slobber all over it!
Tom and Joan had two extra additions with their dogs, and Alex just wanted to get his hands on them.
We had a great time being all together. Singing carols is always my favorite, and Alex was very impressive because he knew some of the songs and was really cute while he was singing "Up on a Housetop"
