It is our family tradition to decorate gingerbread houses after Thanksgiving. This is very serious buisness in our family.
All of us get to decorate our own house. My mom is so great, she spends all day cooking these gingerbread houses for us.
Dad made a great house with lots of candy. My favorite part was the gum balls. Scott had fun making his first gingerbread house including the ax for his safely placed firewood. Christy made a candy replica of her own house. I just had fun with some of the new candy items. And Peter made a cinnamon toast crunch shingle roof with some great details(as always).
This was my finished product. Complete with a pond. Thanks family for the fun, especially mom for all the hard work. I love you all.

Thanksgiving Break
I saw the two cutest kids in the whole wide world over the break! This is Alexander playing peak-a-boo behind the stairs.
This is Peter playing with Charlotte. She is so stinkin' cute! We had a lot of giggles and smiles.
It's official! I was able to meet with my bishop in Heber, and he got me all set up online to complete my application for my mission! It is really exciting to think about serving after graduation. Stay tuned for the mission call to come after the new year.

Emerald Pools and Angels Landing
This was the first stop that we made on our journey. This was one of the Emerald Pools. There are three blogs under this trip because I can't load more than four pictures at a time so keep going all the way through. This was an amazing hike. 9 miles in all.
We had started the hike up Angels Landing and this is what looking back at the valley looked like. I think sometimes the great landscapes of southern utah look fake.
This is Angels Landing from the bottom. We got to see how high we were going to climb right off the bat.
Emerald Pools and Angels Landing 2
This sign just made me feel so great about continuing on the hike! But it really made me laugh too because when I told my mom where I was hiking she said "Don't fall off the Cliff"
You can see how far I would fall in this picture if I took a wrong step or stopped looking for a second.
Emerald Pools and Angels Landing 3
We had such a fun time. Jared led the hike, he works at the SUU Outdoors Center, and the rest of us just wanted to get out. Those who I was with were: Jenna, Sonnet, Mckenzie, Jared, Stephanie, and Me (top to bottom)

Fall Colors and Rock Climbing with Tonya
This is what I get to see as I leave my house to drive to school in the morning. Even though it is cold it is beautiful.
Tonya being held against her will, by me( the belayer), to have a great picture taken of her at the top of the wall.
I climbed a different route and made it to the top as well.

Strawberry Days
I was able to go home for Strawberry Days. After working out here all summer I had to go and see all of the beautiful Kokanee. They are usually silver, but when they spawn they turn this amazing red color.
I tried to hold a fish, but I am a chicken! I told Brett to get a small one and in no way was this male fish small! When I went to grad him he flipped out which of coarse made me flip out as well!
On the way home from Strawberry Mom and I saw a moose. We were very close and Mom was worried that she was going to charge the car. The flash of my camera kept going off, so we didn't stay too long. Do not want an angry mommy!
Going home was great because I got to see all of the beautiful colors of a Heber City fall. This is just out of our front door. Amazing!

Taylors Hollow in Kolob
Just a few of us went on the hike. Me, Marcus Neilson, and Jenny and Justin Snarr
What a nice table we found!
Taylors Hollow in Kolob 2
The first weekend in Cedar, I slipped away to Kolob Canyon and went on this beautiful hike called Taylors Hollow.
This double arch was the main attraction.
